t’s only been three months since FANGZ first show but Sydney’s newest four-piece punk rock band have certainly been making waves in their local scene. Kicking off their live shows with a four-week residency at the Hideaway Bar in Enmore. No one could have predicted that each night would see a line down the street - It seemed everyone wanted to join this beer-soaked, sweat fest!
FANGZ debut single “One For You One For Me”, recorded by Stevie Knight (The Dead Love) at Electric Sun studios, debuted exclusively on Triple J Unearthed 15th March 2019 and premiered at no.2 in the Triple J Unearthed Punk Charts (and later climbed to no.1).
The debut track was spun on Unearthed and then featured nationally on Triple J’s ‘Short.Fast.Loud’ within a week of its release, it’s undeniable this tune piqued some interest.
Now comes the time for FANGZ to head off on their first Headline tour as they buckle up and hit the road up and down the east coast of Australia in support of their new EP “For Nothing”.
“Resistance is futile.”
